Compatibility v/s Probability

Some thought has gone into making this claim-

 "You'll be the most compatible to a person, when your probability of predicting that person's minds' next thought in terms of space-time continuum, is non-negative and compatibility achieves its strongest when the probability tends to unity, but not equal to it."

Lets break down the concepts for better understanding, shall we...

Probability of any event is nothing but the ratio of "number of events favoring that event" to "the total number of events". For example, lets say X=>"Getting a head, after tossing a non-biased coin." Then the probability of event X happening, denoted by P(X)=1/2 (Since no. of events favoring=1 and total no. of events is 2).

Now, we've all drawn graphs at some point or the other, during our schooling. Famous one of course is the x-y plot. Any point can be represented using this x-y plot, i.e, a point is nothing but an ordered pair.
Now imagine, that we all are stuck, in one such plot. (We actually are!!!) Replace x with Space and y with Time. Voila, we got ourselves a space-time continuum. Here space actually is three-dimensional and time acts as the fourth dimension.
Continuing with the analogy, everything in this world is an ordered pair of Space-Time.

Let us consider human beings, for the sake of explaining the claim stated above. Every human being is nothing but an ordered pair of Space-Time, i.e, an entity or a mass, at any point of time occupying some space in this continuum. From here, that person can move to a different space as time proceeds, now representing a different ordered pair. Therefore, it is safe to say that the ordered pairs are always unique for an individual. (Of course, Two people or MORE can be in one place at the same time. Don't get ideas!!!)

To predict the person's next position in the continuum, lets get back to probability. We know that the total number of pairs that a person can be in, is actually "infinity" and the only event favoring is the one which is predicted, which is "one".
           Thus the probability, P(Predicting next pair) = 1/infinity ,
                                        =>P(Predicting next pair) = 0 .

Thus Fore sight is actually a myth!!!! ( ANOTHER CLAIM ;) )

But there's a slight twist in the tail. The World is Biased. To understand this, consider a situation where you know about the person, whose pair you have to predict. This of course becomes easier as the value of the total numbers of pairs reduces significantly(making it a finite number). Now the more you know about the person, the easier it is to predict. And the Probability gets a value in the range of [0,1).
Coming to the final proof in my claim. A person's intellect is nothing but an abstraction of the person itself. Applying the same logic of probability, one can say that if a person knows another person at a more emotional level, rather than physical, then the person can predict what the other person is thinking about, at any instant.

Thus, The more the value of probability, mutually of course, the more compatible they are. However, the probability shouldn't equal unity. The person becomes that much more predictable then, which affects the compatibility factor inversely.

So for a healthy relationship, keep your probability in check. Its all about maths guys!!!!!!

  1. Gotta admint, for the first time I actually understood the concept of 4D.

    Plus your theory seems to be deceptively accurate :)
